YFLO Delhi AGOMONI at Khelat Bhawan

It was a pleasure to take one of India’s most iconic addresses - the centuries old Khelat Bhavan - a favourite with Mahatma Gandhi to Rabindranath Tagore back in time - recreating its past opulence for YFLO Delhi Durga Puja 2025 Agomoni experience that we curated.

The DESIGN LANGUAGE I used as the scenographer came from my own experience of how a Bonedi Bari aristocratic puja happens - in my own ancestral house in Malda which celebrated its 300th year in 2025

The language is of subtle opulence - ostentatious but not gaudy I wanted the amazing women of YFLO Delhi - 92 of them under the leadership of its Chair - the incredible Aaradhana Dalmia to enter a different realm that took them back hundreds of years of revelrie, of familial togetherness steeped in traditions I also wanted the women - most of who were witnessing their first ever Puja - to soak in the true dominance of Bengal.
