India Story 2024 - PARAMA

Parama’s logo is of a flower called Flame of the Forest, commonly known in Bengal as Polash.
She has a deep connection with this flower and decided to make it a symbol of her brand.
When OIiendrila was asked to curate her store space within The India Story 2024 Bengal Courtyard, she wanted to the bring the brand ethos to the fore by making the Polash tree the central hero of the space.
She and her team created the tree with sized bamboo and filled it with hundreds of Polash made with blazing orange and brown paper.
Under the tree you felt connected with the essence of the brand. Handloom weaves hanging on a typical Bengali alna, rustic benches that you’d find in the village centre where people gathered over chai and charcha. Aachar jars with dhaan, racks with old school paan box and household objects. A scene from the very epitome of Bengal’s ethnicity, where you could almost smell the spring and the rootedness of the brand’s spirit.
