Crimson Feast
Red is an obvious choice this season. I used a more minimal approach for this table. Keeping in theme of using fruits as the main element instead of flowers, I made apples and pomegranates my hero’s of this installation. I found a very interesting vegetable called Rosella, also know as Khatta bhindi in the local market. I made garlands with these, used wooden skewers to create bunches and really had a lot of fun experimenting with these elements.
The only flower I added was red Anthuriums for its structured appeal and how it holds its own even within a mixed bag of other elements.
I like to play with usual elements in these colours. Something I find in the local market or spot on carts of fruit vendors. You can use almost anything that speaks that colour palette.
